The MikroTik Cloud Core Router 2004-1G12S+2XS is the first representative of the 2nd series of CCR routers. The device is equipped with 1 gigabit Ethernet port, 12 SFP+ slots (10 Gb/s), and 2 SFP28 slots (25 Gb/s), providing high throughput and various connectivity options. It is well-suited for most internet networks. The enclosure is designed for mounting in a 19" Rack cabinet, and mounting ears are included in the package.
The offered product features the highest clock speed processor among all MikroTik offerings at the moment. The AL32400 processor has 4 cores, each clocked at 1700 MHz, making it ideal for BGP and VPN connections using a single tunnel. DDR4 RAM memory is used, which is faster than older standards. The new CCR comes with RouterOS installed, with a Level 6 license.
The device is equipped with 2 built-in AC power supplies (100 - 240 V), which can operate redundantly in fail-over mode - if one power supply fails, the other one starts automatically. The maximum power consumption is 49 W, which is a very good result considering the performance offered by the router.
