Product Description:
The LTC12-100 battery is a type of lead-acid cell designed using AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) technology. In this design, the electrolyte is absorbed into fiberglass mats placed between the lead plates of the battery. The AGM technology includes a pressure release valve known as VRLA (Valve-Regulated Lead-Acid). This one-way valve opens when there is an excessive build-up of gas pressure, which can occur during overcharging, and safely releases the gas to prevent the battery casing from bursting. The fiberglass mats also protect the plates from shocks and vibrations, even under extreme field conditions. This battery can be mounted in any position.
