Description

The Huawei S5720-56C-EI-48S-AC is a managed switch equipped with 48 SFP slots and 4 SFP+ slots (10 Gb/s). Additionally, it has one expansion slot for connecting either an upstream interface card with 2 SFP+ slots (10 Gb/s) or a stacking card with 2 QSFP+ slots (40 Gb/s). The switching capacity of the device is 598 Gb/s, with a packet forwarding speed of 162 Mp/s. The rack-mountable enclosure is designed for installation in a 19" Rack cabinet, and switches of this type are commonly used in corporate networks, campus networks, or data centers.

The offered product supports RIPv1, RIPv2, and OSPF routing protocols. It handles both IPv4 and IPv6 protocols, including IPv4 unicast routing and multicast routing protocols (PIM-DM, PIM-SM, IGMP, MSDP, RPF). Additionally, it provides full Layer 2 multicast support, VLANs (including QinQ), and adequate security measures. It supports intelligent stacking (iStack) and allows for the deployment of an electrical stacking port. It operates as an SVF (Super Virtual Fabric) client, enabling the virtualization of core/aggregation switches, access switches, and access points into a single device.

The switch is equipped with one AC power supply.
