Huawei AirEngine 6761-21T is a high-performance, tri-band access point designed for building modern wireless networks in offices, commercial facilities, educational institutions, hotels, and other demanding environments. The device uses the Wi-Fi 6 (IEEE 802.11ax) standard and offers a total maximum wireless throughput of up to 6.575 Gbps.
The AirEngine 6761-21T uses three independent radios: 2.4 GHz 2×2 and two 5 GHz radios – 2×2 for the high band and 4×4 for the low band. This allows the access point to simultaneously support a large number of clients while providing high transmission throughput.
The device is equipped with two Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports, one of which supports 802.3af/at PoE, as well as a USB 2.0 port intended, among other things, for IoT applications. Built-in smart antennas further optimize wireless transmission.
The AirEngine 6761-21T supports the IEEE 802.11ax standard, providing higher performance, more efficient use of available bandwidth, and improved support for multiple devices simultaneously compared with older Wi-Fi standards.
The access point supports:
The total maximum wireless throughput is up to 6.575 Gbps, making the device suitable for networks with high traffic loads.
Huawei AirEngine 6761-21T uses three independent radio modules:
This solution increases network capacity and enables efficient support for a large number of client devices.
The access point features built-in smart antennas integrated into the device. The maximum antenna gain is:
The AirEngine 6761-21T is equipped with 2 Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports with automatic 10/100/1000 Mbps speed detection.
One of the ports, marked GE/PoE_IN, supports Power over Ethernet in accordance with IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at standards. This allows both data and power to be transmitted over a single Ethernet cable.
The second GE port is used for a wired Ethernet network connection.
When powered via PoE 802.3at, the device retains full functionality. When 802.3af is used, some functions and interfaces are subject to limitations, so 802.3at PoE+ power is recommended for demanding installations.

The access point features a USB 2.0 Type-A port, which can be used to connect devices intended for IoT applications.
The USB interface can provide 2.5 W or 5 W of power, allowing the AirEngine 6761-21T to work with additional modules and peripheral devices.
Huawei AirEngine 6761-21T also supports Bluetooth Low Energy 5.2 (BLE 5.2). This feature expands the capabilities of the access point to include location-based applications, IoT devices, and communication with compatible Bluetooth Low Energy devices.
The device can be powered in two ways:
The maximum power consumption is 21.2 W, excluding any additional power consumed by devices connected to the USB port.
PoE simplifies installation because only one Ethernet cable needs to be connected to the access point, carrying both data and power.
Huawei AirEngine 6761-21T is designed for installation in a variety of environments. The device can be mounted, among other options:
The compact enclosure, measuring 220 mm in diameter and 50 mm in depth, enables discreet and aesthetically pleasing installation of the access point in office and commercial spaces.
The AirEngine 6761-21T can operate at temperatures ranging from -10°C to +50°C and at relative humidity levels from 5% to 95% RH, non-condensing.
The device can operate at altitudes of up to 5000 m above sea level. At altitudes between 1800 and 5000 m, the maximum operating temperature decreases by 1°C for every additional 300 m of altitude.
The access point is equipped with an LED indicator that displays the operating status of the device. Depending on the system status, it may glow white, flash, or light up red when an error occurs.
The device also features a Default button, which can be used to reset the device and – depending on the software version – restore factory settings.
Huawei AirEngine 6761-21T features a BLE Console function that can be used to operate and configure the device via Bluetooth Low Energy technology.
This solution facilitates installation and maintenance work, especially in locations where access to a physical console interface is difficult.
Huawei AirEngine 6761-21T has been designed for professional wireless network deployments. Thanks to its three radios, Wi-Fi 6 support, MIMO technology, and smart antennas, it can be used in environments where a large number of users and devices access the network simultaneously.
