The Huawei HG8247H is a client GPON ONT terminal equipped with 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports, 2 telephone ports, a CATV port, and a USB port. It features two external antennas with a gain of 2 dBi each, enabling wireless WiFi transmission in the 2.4 GHz band. It utilizes IEEE 802.11b/g/n protocols and 2x2 MIMO technology, allowing for a wireless throughput of 300 Mbps. The terminal supports encoding/decoding G.711A/u, G.729a/b, and G.722, as well as T.30, T.38, and G.711 for fax mode. For audio transmission, it uses SIP and H.248 protocols.
The offered product is equipped with numerous management and routing features. It supports multicast routing IGMP Snooping/proxy v2/v3, MDL Snooping v1/v2, and via WiFi. It employs NAT/NAPT, PPPoE, DHCP, and static IP. It can operate according to IPv6, leveraging IPv4/IPv6 dual-stack and DS-Lite. The HG8247H also comes with advanced QoS features, a built-in SPI firewall, and MAC/IP/URL address filtering.
The device incorporates all the features an end-user might need. Configuration can be done locally through a graphical interface in a web browser or remotely using OMCI or TR069.
