Description

The FIBERM FTTX MDU C16 port uncut splice closure is a splice closure device designed for wall or pole mounting. It features 17/18 inlet/outlet ports. This type of closure is used to protect fiber optic cable splices, organize them, and facilitate both disconnecting and non-disconnecting (fusion) splicing. The housing is made of high-quality polycarbonate (PC) material, resistant to UV radiation, low (-40°C) and high (+60°C) temperatures, and chemical substances, making it suitable for aerial, duct, and buried installations. It provides an efficient and simple system for managing fiber optics. All metal components of the closure are made of corrosion-resistant materials. The design of the closure allows for the installation of optical splitters, as well as 2 trunk and 16 distribution adapters, significantly simplifying and shortening the installation time. A new feature in the design is the oval port, which can be self-mounted, allowing the closure to be adapted to changing needs.
