FiberHome Fiber Optic Cable
The FiberHome 72J DUCT fiber optic cable is a multi-tube construction cable (12 fibers per tube) designed for installation in telecommunications ducts. It is reinforced with glass fibers and a central Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) rod. Additionally, one ripcord is included to facilitate the removal of the outer sheath. Hydrophobic gel is applied inside the tube containing the optical fibers to protect them from moisture and vibrations. Single-mode fibers conforming to the G.652D standard with reduced impact of hydroxyl ions (Zero Water Peak) are utilized. The cable is completely dielectric and characterized by good tensile and compression strength. The outer sheath is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), black in color, exhibiting high resistance to chemical agents and substances found in telecommunications ducts.
