FiberHome Fiber Optic Cable

The FiberHome 12J DAC optical cable is designed for direct burial applications. The cable sheath is made of PE material (orange color) resistant to water, salt solutions, acids, alkalis, alcohols, and gasoline. The cable features high resistance to crushing (up to 1.2 kN) and tensile strength (up to 1.2 kN). The strength of the cable is provided by glass fibers and two Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) rods embedded in the outer sheath. The optical fibers are housed in a loose tube filled with hydrophobic gel, which protects them from water ingress. The cable is fully dielectric and UV resistant. To facilitate the removal of the outer sheath, one ripcord is included. The G.657A1 fibers feature enhanced mechanical resistance, with a minimum bending radius of 15 mm. The 657A1 version is compatible and can be spliced with G.652D fiber.
