The FiberHome Fiber Optic Cable FIBERHOME 48J DUCT is a multi-tube construction cable (12 fibers per tube), designed for installation in telecommunications ducts. It is reinforced with glass fibers and a central FRP (Fiber Reinforced Polymer) rod. Additionally, to facilitate the removal of the cable's outer sheath, one ripcord is included. The tube containing the optical fibers is filled with hydrophobic gel, which protects them from moisture and vibrations. Single-mode fibers in the G.652D standard with reduced impact of -OH ions (Zero Water Peak) have been used. The cable is completely dielectric, characterized by good tensile and compressive strength. The outer sheath is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE, black), exhibiting high resistance to chemical factors and substances present in telecommunications ducts.
