The FIBERHOME 24J DUCT optical fiber cable is a multi-tube construction cable (12 fibers per tube + 4 fillers), designed for installation in telecommunications ducts. It is reinforced with glass fibers and a central FRP (Fiber Reinforced Polymer) rod. Additionally, to facilitate stripping of the cable's outer sheath, one ripcord is included. The tube containing the optical fibers is filled with hydrophobic gel, which protects them from moisture and vibrations. Single-mode fibers compliant with the G.652D standard with reduced sensitivity to -OH ions (Zero Water Peak) are used. The cable is entirely dielectric, characterized by high tensile and compressive strength. The outer sheath is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), black in color, providing high resistance to chemicals and substances found in telecommunications ducts.
Designed for installation in telecommunications ducts.
Resistant to UV radiation.
Has a wide operating temperature range.
