FiberHome Optical Cable
The FIBERHOME 24J DUCT optical cable is a multi-tube design (12 fibers per tube + 4 fillers), designed for installation in telecommunications ducts. It is reinforced with glass fibers and a central FRP (Fiber Reinforced Polymer) rod. Additionally, one ripcord is used to facilitate the removal of the outer cable sheath. Each tube containing optical fibers is filled with hydrophobic gel to protect them from moisture and vibrations. Single-mode fibers in the G.652D standard with reduced -OH ion impact (Zero Water Peak) are employed. The cable is completely dielectric, characterized by high tensile and compression strength. The outer sheath is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE, black) exhibiting high resistance to chemical agents and substances present in telecommunications ducts.
