FIBERHOME Fiber Optic Cable
The FIBERHOME fiber optic cable is a dielectric cable with a single-tube construction designed for aerial installation over spans of up to 80 meters. It is reinforced with aramid fibers and two Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FPR) rods with a diameter of 0.6 mm embedded in the outer layer. Single-mode fibers of type G.652D are used, known for their low "water peak." The fibers are housed in a central tube filled with hydrophobic gel to protect them from moisture and vibrations. The outer sheath is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), black in color, resistant to UV radiation, and capable of withstanding low and high temperatures (from -30°C to 70°C). The outer diameter of the cable is 5.2 mm, and the maximum installation tension is 1.2 kN. To facilitate the removal of the outer sheath, one ripcord is included. Besides aerial installations, the cable can be successfully used in telecommunications ducts.
