The V5808 OLT is an effective device for GPON network access, designed to capture traffic from subscriber lines and transmit it upstream in the network. It features 8 slots for GPON OLT SFP modules, supporting speeds of 2.5 Gbps downstream and 1.25 Gbps upstream. Additionally, the OLT is equipped with 4 ports of 1/10GBase-R (SFP+) 10 Gigabit Ethernet and 4 ports of 10/100/1000Base-T (RJ45) Gigabit Ethernet. The V5808 model fits well into the point-to-multipoint architecture of GPON technology, offering relatively low costs.
Despite its compact size (1U), the device maintains high performance, comparable to larger counterparts. With the option to install two power supplies (AC or DC), it provides redundant power, making it ideal for critical installation locations for the operator. It's worth noting that the power supply slots are located at the front of the device.
