Description

The D-Link DGS-1210-20 is a managed 20-port gigabit Smart switch equipped with 4 SFP Combo ports, management interfaces, and extensive Layer 2 features.

The DGS-1210-20 switch includes a complete set of Layer 2 functions, such as Dual software images, Dual Config Files, IGMP Snooping, Port Mirroring, Multiple Spanning Tree Protocol (MSTP), and Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP), as well as Static Routing, a feature from Layer 3.

The IEEE 802.3x Flow Control function enables direct server-to-switch connections, ensuring fast and stable data transfers. With a data transfer speed of 2000 Mbps in full-duplex mode, the gigabit ports allow very rapid data transmission to servers with minimal losses. Network maintenance functions include Loopback Detection and Cable Diagnostics. Loopback Detection automatically detects loops and shuts down affected ports. Cable Diagnostics, designed primarily for administrators and customer service representatives, helps diagnose cable quality and identify the type of error.
