The ZTT 24J ADSS fiber optic cable (Z-ADSS-MT-24J.2.7KN-12F/T) is a high-quality, fully dielectric cable designed for the construction of modern fiber optic networks. Thanks to its multi-tube construction and the use of robust reinforcing elements, this cable performs excellently in aerial installations with spans of up to 90 meters, as well as in telecommunication ducts.
The cable core has been reinforced with a central FRP (Fiber Reinforced Polymer) rod with a diameter of 2.5 mm, which ensures the mechanical stability of the entire structure. Additional reinforcement in the form of aramid fibers provides very high tensile strength, enabling safe installation even in demanding field conditions.
The cable uses G.652D type single-mode optical fibers, characterized by a reduced water peak (Zero Water Peak). This solution guarantees stable optical signal transmission across a wide range of wavelengths, resulting in high connection quality and reliability.
The fibers are placed in tubes filled with hydrophobic gel, which effectively protects them against moisture, vibrations, and other external factors.
The outer sheath of the cable is made of high-density HDPE polyethylene, resistant to UV radiation and extreme temperatures. The cable can operate within a temperature range from -40°C to +70°C, making it suitable for outdoor applications throughout the year.
To facilitate installation work, the cable is equipped with a ripcord that enables quick and safe removal of the outer sheath.
Although the ZTT 24J ADSS cable was primarily designed for aerial networks, it can also be successfully used in telecommunication duct systems, increasing its versatility and range of applications.
